Here are the official rules and intructions for participants.
In this contest, I'll have my readers be the writers. So all you aspiring authors, this is your chance! The topic will be about the mysterious "nomad" that is "passing through."
Unfortunately, we cannot see the "nomad" through Nessie's eyes. In this contest, I'll have you write in the "nomad's" point of view. You may include your own personal touches such as a name for her.
To help you out, I've typed up a "cheat sheet" including info of what we already know about this "nomad" to use as you write.
- The nomad has curly blond hair
- The nomad is a female
- The nomad is described as being beautiful like any other immortal
- She is claimed to be just a nomad passing through
- Nessie has continous blurry visions of her
- Nessie fears the worst for her family when they are attempting to confront the nomad
- In Nessie's visions, the nomad has her voice
- According to Renesmee's visions, the nomad is hunting/searching for something
- Nessie believes that the nomad wants to play games instead of just killing her instantly
- The nomad once tried to lure Nessie in by singing (with Nessie's own voice!)
So who is this nomad? And what is she doing in New Hampshire? Near the Cullens? Is she asking for trouble? Or fishing for something else? Only you can decide in this contest.
1. Write a diary entry as though you were this nomad. You may make up traits or anything as you please. However, you must comply to what I've already written. (Ex: Writing that the nomad has brown hair instead of blonde would not be true to what I've already stated).
2. You may write in the past or present tense. This also means you can write what is happening before the nomad reaches the Cullens, or while the nomad is confronted by the Cullens or after.
3. Your entry must be at least 500 words. It cannot be more than a 1,000 words.
4. There will be no copying other's work. Any copied entry will automatically be eliminated from this contest.
5. Your entry cannot contain any profanity.
6. Finish your entry with a title.
7. Have fun!
I decided that there will be three winners. Each will recieve a T-shirt; one with a Cullen, the other with the wolfpack, and the third will have a Volturi design. Each winner will receive a special letter response from me about his/her entry along with an autograph.
All entries must be submitted in by November 13th, or they cannot be accounted.
